Shipping Methods

PLACE AND TIME OF DELIVERY

We accept orders for product deliveries only within the territorial jurisdiction of the Republic of Cyprus. For orders from other countries, the customer/user must indicate the shipping agency/courier where they want the products to be delivered. Orders are processed during business hours (9:00am - 5:00pm) except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The hours of each delivery route are determined unilaterally by the company EFT EUROFURNITURE TRADERS IMP-EXP LTD (hereinafter "company") or by the cooperating shipping agency/logistics and are communicated to the customer/user. In cases where the customer/user cannot receive the delivery on the designated day and time, the shipping company sets a new delivery date and notifies the customer/user. In cases where the customer cannot receive the delivery at the next appointment either, they must collect the products using their own means of transport from the company's cooperating Logistics partner. Orders that include products on order are shipped immediately after all products have been collected at the company's central warehouses at Ioanninon 1, Ypsonas. Partial shipment of individual products in an order is not excluded, provided this is agreed with the customer.

ORDER DELIVERY METHOD

Shipping to the customer/user in areas covered by the company's distribution network.

Products and services sold are shipped to the address and recipient that the customer/user has declared when submitting their order, which has been accepted by the company. The company freely chooses the means of shipping as long as the delivery location is served by its distribution network, and notifies the customer either by phone or in the email confirmation of the order acceptance. The customer/user is informed in the above manner about the shipping costs of the order. The Company's Distribution Network provides 95% population coverage of the Republic of Cyprus and is defined by areas: Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Larnaca.

Company Distribution Network

Delivery is defined up to the sidewalk at the entrance. In cases where the cooperating transport agency is unable to deliver to the sidewalk at the entrance, delivery will be made to the nearest possible delivery point.

  • Minimum shipping charge 3 euros.
  • In case the delivery address provided by the customer/user is difficult to access by the company's/shipping agency's means of transport (e.g., truck) or entry is not permitted for the company's/shipping agency's means of transport, please notify us during order registration so that appropriate measures can be taken. If such notification is not made, the company/shipping agency has the right to deliver the products to the nearest accessible point by the means of transport or to request an additional charge from the customer/user for the delivery of goods to the sidewalk at the entrance.

Deliveries to areas outside the Company's Distribution Network – obligations

In case the customer specifies in their order a delivery location outside the Company's Distribution Network (all areas not mentioned above), there may be additional charges for transportation which will be communicated to the customer after their order. Additionally, there may be further delays regarding the delivery time of the goods.

General terms regarding shipping of products and services

The company reserves the right to modify the methods, terms, and prices of shipping at will and without prior notice, being obliged to inform its prospective customers of these changes by revising these terms of use of the electronic store (e-shop).

Collection from Logistics Warehouses

The company provides the customer with the option to collect products and services sold through the online store, when available, from the central warehouses of EFT EUROFURNITURE TRADERS IMP-EXP LTD (Ioanninon 1, Ypsonas, CY 4186). Specifically, the customer is entitled to select through the online store the product(s) they wish to collect from the warehouses/logistics, provided that the products have been gathered and are ready for collection. The company's employees are obliged to inform the customer/user when the products are ready for collection.

If the product(s) selected by the customer/user are available in the warehouses/logistics, the customer will be able to come to the warehouses/logistics to collect the purchased items, after at least one hour has passed since submitting their order through the online store (for example, if the customer places an order at 3:00pm, they can collect it from at least after 4:00pm). Product collections can be made Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. If it is determined that a user is abusing this opportunity provided by the company (e.g., repeated ordering of items through the online store and not collecting them from the warehouses, etc.), the latter may reject and refuse the order of said user through the option of collection from the store. In the event that the customer does not come to the warehouses to collect the purchased items (i.e., collection of the items and payment of the price) within 30 days from the time the products are ready for collection, the sale is automatically canceled, being subject to the dissolving condition of the timely fulfillment of the customer's obligations as mentioned above.

Extension of the deadline is only possible for reasons of force majeure, provided these are timely communicated by the customer and confirmed in writing. In the case of cancellation, the company EFT EUROFURNITURE TRADERS IMP-EXP LTD bears no responsibility for this reason. In the event that a deposit has been given at the request of the company by the customer/user for a special order of products, then the company reserves the right to withhold this deposit and cancel the order.

Authorized person for collection on behalf of the customer

Collection in any case is made by the person referred to in the order as the recipient upon presentation of their identity card or passport or in general a public document suitable for proving identity. In case the person referred to in the order as the recipient cannot collect the items themselves, they must notify us in writing at the company's email address [email protected]. EFT EUROFURNITURE TRADERS IMP-EXP LTD reserves the right to demand the return from the supervisor or guardian of any orders made by legally incapable persons.

Deadline for fulfillment of sale – delivery

The delivery time of the products and services sold is specified in the order according to availability, confirmed in the acceptance of the order by the company, and is at most ninety (90) working days from the time of the conclusion of the sale unless there is a special, different agreement between the parties confirmed in writing, by email correspondence. In case such time is not agreed and confirmed for any reason in the above manner, delivery will be made at the latest within ninety (90) working days from the acceptance of the order and conclusion of the sale. In case of an extraordinary and unforeseen impediment that EFT EUROFURNITURE TRADERS IMP-EXP LTD may face regarding the delivery of product(s), the latter is entitled to postpone the delivery of all or part of the sold products and services, with its written statement (email message) to the customer (simultaneously telephone notification will be made), provided that the total waiting time, together with the postponement, does not exceed ninety (90) days from the time of approval of the order and conclusion of the sale. Otherwise, in case of exceeding the deadline of ninety (90) days due to an impediment or inability of the COMPANY to make the delivery to the customer, then only the customer will be entitled, if they so wish, to set a new second deadline for delivery exceeding ninety (90) days (such a new deadline is not necessary if the company refuses delivery in general, or if the delivery served the interests of the customer only if it was made within the legal deadline of ninety (90) days and the customer had informed the company accordingly). If the supplementary deadline set by the customer is not met, then the latter is entitled to terminate the sales contract with respect to the delayed items. The rest of the order is executed normally except in the case where the items in the order are related, will be used as a whole and have a follow-up character to one another and the customer declares that the partial fulfillment of the order does not serve their needs or interests, in which case the company must cancel the entire order.
