Marantz used state-of-the-art Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAMs) to design the PM-10 for faithful, dynamic music playback. The large annular power transformer and the power feedback circuit work together to provide clean, steady power that handles peak volumes smoothly and accurately - without distortion. Discrete circuits, double layers of copper frames, new high-performance copper terminals - all deliver uncompromising, colorless and completely irresistible sound quality. Digital circuits introduce electrical noise and can interfere with sensitive amplifier signals. The PM-10's analog design keeps things simple for clearer sound. "Purest Mode" turns off any unnecessary circuits, giving the signal the clearest possible path through the amplifier. There is also a Power Amp input that receives the signal directly from the input section to the power stage, so the PM-10 can act as a pure power amplifier.
